What Is Glaucoma?
Glaucoma is an eye disease that damages the optic nerve, which transmits images to the brain. It is most commonly caused by a build up of pressure (intraocular pressure) in the eye due to inadequate drainage of the eye fluid which is called aqueous humor.

What Is Endoscopic Cyclophotocoagulation (ECP)?
ECP is a minimally invasive surgical technique that allows direct visualization and laser treatment to the surface layer of the ciliary processes.
This treatment inhibits production of aqueous in the eye, typically resulting in a decrease in intraocular pressure as well as the reduction or elimination of your eye drops.
ECP can be performed alone but is an ideal procedure to combine with your cataract surgery.
